Ford Ranger pickup truck to come back to the U.S. market starting in 2019!

Well folks, 2017 is finally upon us, and if you're anything like many of us here at Motor Mile Ford, you're excited for the future. 2017 promises to be a year of great change, full of new experiences, new opportunities, and of course…news! Specifically Ford news, as it was announced at the North America International Auto Show this week that the Ford Ranger truck will be coming back to North America starting in the 2019 model year.

For those who're unfamiliar with the model, the Ford Ranger is easily one of Ford's most iconic trucks. Second only to the near-legendary Ford F-Series trucks, the Ford Ranger is a light-duty truck that saw its start in Ford's lineup way back in 1983. The Ford Ranger has enjoyed cult popularity over the years, despite having only been sold in Europe since 2012. However, Ford intends to bring this model back to the States, with production starting at its Michigan truck plant late next year.

Ford has been tight-lipped on the details of this upcoming truck and where it will fit into the brand's already outstanding lineup of pickups, but from where we're standing, more Ford trucks to feature at our Christiansburg, VA dealership does not sound like a bad prospect. If you're interested in the upcoming Ford Ranger, make sure to stay tuned to this blog for further updates and news regarding its release.
